The Pony Shop, located at 1224 Chicago Avenue in Evanston Illinois, is a locally owned and managed bicycle shop that’s been a part of the community since 1969. Our staff provides Chicagoland’s cyclists – from mountain bikers and racers to casual riders, families and kids – professional yet friendly service.

The Pony Shop’s philosophy is simple: provide the absolute best service by hiring and keeping the best bike people around, and allow them to introduce innovative products to you to try and buy.

The Pony Shop is proud to be an active member of Evanston’s cycling and business community. We supply bicycles and service to The Evanston and Northwestern Police Departments, and we sponsor Northwestern University’s Cycling Team and Second City Cyclists (2CC). We are members of the National Bicycle Dealers Association and of Bikes Belong, as well as The Evanston Chamber of Commerce and The Main Street Merchants Association. The Pony Shop also offers discounts to cycling and local organizations.
